Description

The prophecy says: “When the Condor and the Eagle get together, we’ll have peace on Earth.” This legend is remarkable in that it embraces indigenous groups that represent both, natives from the north as well as the south in the Americas. This is the story of a child that represents both cultures.

Her work has also been published in Europe and Latin America. She has won recognized awards, including the International Latino Book Award in the United States eight times. A graduate of the University of British Columbia in Language Arts, she combines literature with artisan work such as embroidery and loom.
