Description

A fast-paced thriller about a special investigator with the California Attorney General’s Office, and his talented colleagues who do everything in their power to prevent a dangerous cartel from smuggling high end cocaine worth billions into the United States. Dale Lipinski is a trainer killer, ex-copy, and former Delta Force and Black ops specialist. He works with colleagues in the FBI, DEA and ATF to investigate and stop the importation of high end cocaine into the US. The cartel is a very sophisticated and ruthless organization that maims and kills anyone who stands in their way. Lipinski rescues a talented hacker targeted for death by a contract killer. He convinces her to help get pertinent information about the cyber crime activities and money deposits of the cartel. The action takes place in the United States, Mexico and Europe, and involves top secret national information systems in Great Britain and the United States.

Roberto de Haro is a retired university professor and senior level executive. He earned the doctorate in California and taught courses in American Studies and film at research universities in California, Maryland and New York. He published five academic monographs, and over 70 articles in scholarly journals. He also published several chapters in academic books that deal with higher education, and campus diversity. Haro received tenure at three institutions. He was on the Board of Directors for the College Board, completed the Harvard University Institute for Educational Management, was an American Council on Education Fellow, and was a member of the California Alumni Association Board of Directors. After retiring, Haro has published eleven novels, and is currently working on a new novel about reincarnation.
