Inspired by a true story, Beleza Estranha touches our everyday feelings and values, such as love, faith and family. The book tells the story of a troubled relationship between father and son. Roberto did not understand the reason for so many intrigues at home. From childhood, he felt persecuted by his father. After many quarrels, life takes them along different paths. Roberto tries to find his place in the world, while his father becomes more and more isolated. Time passes and a reunion between the two will be the opportunity for father and son to adjust feelings and attitudes, in a kind of rediscovery of the strange beauty of life.

Tércio Ribas Torres is a Brazilian writer. He was born in 1973 in the state of Minas Gerais, and lives in Brasilia, the country's capital, since 1998. Tércio is a journalist, theologian, a fan of music and soccer. He also wrote the book of poetry "Poem and Peace". Strange Beauty is his first novel.
