Sylvia Melena is the Founder and CEO of Melena Consulting Group, a leadership and management consulting and training company based in San Diego County, California. The company helps organizations strengthen their leadership and management capabilities, create great workplaces, and improve performance. Sylvia is an award-winning author, speaker, trainer, and consultant with a knack for reinvigorating workplaces. She earned a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, and a Minor in Sociology. Her work in leadership and management has been featured by the Society of Human Resources Management, the Human Performance Association, LEADx, Fit Small Business, and other leadership and management outlets. Before working full-time in her consultancy, Sylvia dedicated her life to serving children.
