Ana María Jiménez Lobo is a professor of English who is not only interested in the verb “to be,” passive tense, conditional, etc. She loves reading and the power of creativity (in her case, writing) since she was a little girl dressed in her school uniform. She has always been accompanies by fantastic characters and worlds: an endearing Manolito Gafotas; a very special extraterrestrial called Gurb. Then when she was older her characters changed into adolescents looking for their own path in the world, as if it were hopscotch; a Huck Finn who found adventures outside of his comfort zone; an always rebellious but at the same time honest Holden Caulfield. She has won several awards for her stories.
