In the tradition of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”, meet Tío Pepe, an animated chili pepper and mascot for a popular Mexican hot sauce. Life is a breeze for this cartoon character, until his girlfriend is kidnapped by The Cartel, and trafficked from Mexico into California. With the help of a host of quirky characters, including Willie El Coyote, Tío Pepe enters the U.S. as an undocumented immigrant, and embarks on an adventure to rescue the love of his life.
About the Author: Philip Victor
Philip Victor a.k.a Don Felipe is a first generation Caribbean-American who was born in Brooklyn, New York to parents from Trinidad & Puerto Rico. At the age of nine, he immigrated to Los Angeles with his mother, and has been an Angelino ever since. He credits the creative writing requirements at the Delphi Academy for encouraging him to write fiction during his high school years. As well as studying The Key To Life grammar and communication course at The Church Of Scientology’s Advanced Organization in Los Angeles. More recently, he has been the recipient of the Silver Pen Award for his comic book writings, and the Oladarte Award for his work in journalism. Philip has also volunteered as a tutor for The World Literacy Crusade in the cities of Lynwood and Compton, and was recognized by California’s state and local government for his contributions in promoting literacy. "The Good, The Bad, And The Chili" is his first novelette.
